April 1st!

Hooray, it is April 1st.  Can we finally be out of the winter season?  I know there is snow storm Xenia in the Midwest, but I am hoping that here in New England we are on our way to warmer, sunnier days.

I am posting a card today that for two different challenges.  This is a first for me.

                      

                           The Paper Players                              The Friday Mashup

Follow the links above to see the details.  The Paper Players is a Tic-Tac-Toe and I used the first column of Birthday, a shade of yellow and paper piecing.

The Friday Mashup challenge is to:

Create a project using the colors "Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Perfect Plum".
Create a project using "an Aqua Painter or a Blender Pen to create a Watercolor Effect".
Or mash it up and create a project with the "Colors above and a Watercolor Effect"

I did the mash up #3.

Here is my card:

I stamped the images from the Stampin' Up! hostess set "Simply Sketched" in Stazon Jet Black on Whisper White.

I then used the Aqua Painter to color the image with SU Perfect plum, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi.

I stamped the image again on a piece of Watercolor paper, colored with the Aqua Painter and cut out the flower and the bud to piece onto the Whisper White.
