Here is my card:
This week has been my week for baby boy cards; two in a row now. It is always good to have a variety of cards on hand for friend and family occasions.
This is a one layer card with a baby nautical theme. The boat image is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called Moving forward. Because this challenge is a one layer card, I couldn't wrap the twine around a layer and fasten on the back. Instead, I made tiny slits in the corners of the card and pulled the twine trough to the back. To make the twine lay flat I put some Tombo on my thumb and index finger and pulled the twine through my fingers a few times so that it had a very light coating of the glue. Then I was able to place the twine down on the card and it stayed in place.
The pennants image is from a Sale-A-Bration set, available free with a $50 purchase, until March 31st.
The way you have placed the banners and twine is so fun, I love it! Such a great theme for a baby boy card!
