Pals February Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pals February Blog Hop. This month we are excited to share with you what we love about Stampin' Up! - our stamps, tools, accessories and techniques.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Natalie Bradley at Natalie Bradley Events, # 17,on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

What I love about Stampin' Up! is...everything! But, seriously, what I love about Stampin' Up is the way everything matches. And when I say everything, I mean everything. The inks match card stock, designer series paper, ribbons, embellishments and more. Stamp images match designer papers, punches, and framelits.  You just can't go wrong.

When I was was learning about stamping, I was very unsuccessful at making a nice looking card.  Once I was introduced to Stampin' Up!, I was able to produce a beautiful result, because the elements of the card matched perfectly.  And, I didn't have to drive around town from store to store searching for a ribbon that would match an ink that would match the card stock.

So, if you are new to stamping, select a stamp set and a color (any color) and some basic supplies,  and you will achieve beautiful results.  If you are not new to stamping you will appreciate all the matching elements Stampin' Up! has to offer.

Here are two cards that use the same color card stock, ink and ribbon, Primrose Petals and the same stamp set, Blooming with Kindness.  Blooming with Kindness is a great set because in addition to an image, it also includes sentiments for birthdays, thank you cards and cards to show support. This is a beautiful and versatile set that is a go-to set for me when I want to send a formal thank you, etc.

Here are two similar but different cards, using matching elements.

So this is one of the many things I love about Stampin' Up! With some white card stock, some basic black ink and one additional color of card stock, matching ink and ribbon, it is possible to easily produce professional quality designs. Thank you Stampin' Up!

The next stop is Lisa Ann Bernard at Queen B Creations, #19 on the Pals Blog Hop!
