Over at The Paper Players this week there is a fun challenge called A Clean Slate. It is the beginning of a new year and time for many of us to start out with a clean slate.
This challenge, however, is asking us to use the chalkboard technique in a project. So clever!
Well, sometimes I think I take instruction too literally, and my project went white on black and I just could not stop!
I used the new framelits set from Stampin' Up called Banners Framelits to cut some banners that had been stamped with stamps from SU Gorgeous Grunge and the chevron pateern is a stamp from Oh, Hello.
The sentiment is from SU Really Good Greetings. I used SU White Baker's Twine, a button from SU's Neutral Collection and did some sponging on just about every edge to give it that chalkboard look.
Very pretty, Diane! I really like the diversity in the banners. Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Diane. Very dramatic and wonderful with all those banners!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you did the banners and the chalkboard technique. Beautiful card.
