PPA 165

Here is the sketch for this week's challenge at Pals Paper Arts

Sometimes it is all about the paper.
Team 2 is challenging you with a sketch this week.  Have you seen Stampin' Up!'s DSP Soho Subway.  It is absolutely perfect for Scrap Booking and Journaling!  But, I wanted to challenge myself to use it in a greeting card so here it is:

In addition to the Soho Subway, I used Early Espresso as the base. The heart was punched with the SU Small Heart Punch.  I stamped "I" in the heart with SU Island Indigo Ink and the Designer Typeset Photopolymer stamp set.

Happy Stamping!

  1. This is a fun card! I find this SDP a challenge to use and now you have made me think to look at it in "blocks" and focus on a word....and just GO for it! Thanks for the inspiration!!!!

  2. Oops...I meant DSP (Designer Series Paper)

  3. Love this DSP but have struggled with the "street map" design. You used it perfectly! Thank you for the inspiration.

  4. Thanks for ideas on how to use this dap. Although I own it, I am a bit stymied by it.

  5. Love this DSP!! What a fabulous job!!! Absolutely perfect job in making this into a card!!! Must have now!!

  6. What a clever use of DSP, Diane! I love it!!!
