This week we have a color challenge:
As you can see, the Island Indigo is represented in the ribbon. I added Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake directly to a stamping block to add color. I brayered a larger stamping block with the Rich Razzleberry and stamped with that.
The Baja Breeze streams of color were created by putting a few rubber bands aound my brayer, inking up and adding the color over the whole panel. I used the spots stamp from SU's Paper Pumpkin to add the Crumb Cake spots. There is a bit of washi tape from This and That bundle and the Stamp Sets used are Postage Due and Affection Collection. The "postage stamps" were punched with the SU Postage Stamp Punch.
Diane, This is a very artisitc, unique collage. I love the texture from the rubber bands, and the card is balanced in color and weight. Thanks for playing along with The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteBrian, thank you for those words. I find them encouraging. I was hesitatnt to post this card because it was not created along traditional methods. The inks and stamps were placed by feelings the colors inspired. Thank you.
