Tickled Pink

Today's post features a stamp set called Flamingo Lingo by Stampin' Up!.  Each year, Stampin' Up! designates a stamp set to be the Ronald McDonald House stamp set.   Through the Ronald McDonald House program,  Ronald McDonald House Charities keeps families together and helps children heal.    To date, Stampin' Up! has contributed over $1,000,000 in time and money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.

This year, with each purchase of the Flamingo Lingo stamp set,  Stampin' Up! will donate $3.00  to RMHC.  Together we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

I am using Flamingo Lingo for my submission to the Friday Mashup Challenge.  Follow the link to play:   The Friday Mashup Challenge.

Participation in card challenges gives you an opportunity to hone your skills, try new techniques and, best of all, have fun.  Here are this week's guidelines:

Create a Project with a "Watercolor Wash".
or
Create a "CAS project or one with Minimal Layers".
or
Mash it Up! and create a "CAS project with a Watercolor Wash".

I always try to Mash it up.

Using a 4" X 5.25" piece of watercolor paper, I did a wash of Blushing Bride on top and Pistachio Pudding on the bottom section.  I tried to keep this CAS (clean and simple)  so I added the Flamingo image in Strawberry Slush, a tiny banner and 4 candy dots.  I added this layer to a base of Melon Mambo, and called it finished!

I hope you give this challenge a try.  Happy Stamping!
