The Paper Players have a Sketch Challenge this week.

I have had a rectangular piece of embossed Primrose Petals  Core'dinations card stock floating around my desk for months now.  I don't know what I originally intended for this piece and have been meaning to do something with it for a while now.  Well, today is the day.  

When I saw this Paper Players sketch challenge, I knew that this piece of embossed card stock now had a card to call home.

New Catty Event Swaps

Stampin' Up! unveiled the new catalog last night to 7,000 demonstrators across the country.  There was a simulcast in 40 theaters and I was fortunate to attend the Boston screening.

The new catalog is fabulous and I will be sharing details about that later.

I attended with four other demonstrators who are members of Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty Pals.  These are the swaps I shared with my Pals:

Then it is just a matter of decorating a tag and slipping it on the candy bar with a belly band.

I love playing at The Friday Mashup.  There is a choice of two challenges or doing them both to mash it up.  This week's challenge is:

I chose to use the soon to be retiring Modern Medley DSP and Perfectly Penned.  I will really be sad to see them go.  If you do not have the stamp set Perfectly Penned, you might consider purchasing it before it is gone forever.  It contains the four most used sentiments in card making in an a beautiful font.

Another Banner Birthday

Today's card is a  Birthday Card made with banners and Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Basics DSP.

Happy Birthday, Shemp

Do you ever get requests to make special cards?  I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had a special request that I was able to accomplish using My Digital Studio (MDS).  Well I had another request today, and, using MDS I was able to make the card my customer requested.

The request was for a Birthday Card for Shemp, from the other Three Stooges.
