Pals January 2014 Blog Hop

2014janhop_badge
Welcome to our first blog hop of 2014. This month we are excited to show you the new products available in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog as well as a preview of the free products you can earn through Sale-a-bration at the end of January.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Nicole Watt at Pixel Maven's Retreat, #14 on the Pals Hop.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

I used the new Stamp Set and matching punch called Petite Petals to create the little flowers on my tag.  The Petite Petals is bundled with the matching punch in the new catalog to save you 15%.
The tag on my card was cut using the new Angled Tag Topper Punch.
The sentiment is from the Simply Celebrate stamp set which coordinates wit hthe Celebrations Basics Kit, but each of the sentiments are great on their own.

And the new  Embossing Folder, Decorative Dots, is part of the Sale-A-Bration event and is yours free, with a $50 purchase, during Sale-A-Bration event January 28th to March 31st.

Using Whisper White card stock, I brayered some Crisp Cataloupe ink on the inside of the embossing folder to create the white decorative dots.  The leaves are punched in Pistachio Pudding card stock, using the Owl Builder Punch.  The water spots are from Gorgeous Grunge. Other accessories are the Basic Pearls, Taffeta Ribbon and White Baker's Twine.  Be sure to check out the new catalog, it is the best yet!

The next stop is Katy McGloin at Just Fun Stamping, #16, on the Pals Blog Hop!

Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month.

  8. I don't usually like Crisp Cantaloupe very much, but the way you've used it on this card is a winner! There are so many sweet points, but I guess I mainly like the soft, prettiness of it.TFS
