The Paper Players Challenge this week is a Tic Tac Toe. I chose the bottom row: Embossing, Friendship and Ribbon.
Here is my card:
All products Stampin' Up!
Very Vanilla and Basic Black Card Stock
7/8" Cotton Ribbon
5/8 Crochet Trim
Labels Collection Framelits
Chalk Talk Framelits
Modern Medley DSP
Versa Mark
Black Stampin' Emboss Powder
From My Heart Stamp Set
Fancy Fan Embossing Folder
Stampin' Dimensionals
Big Shot
Method:
I embossed the Friendship image twice and fussy cut the friendship banner. I placed the banner on top of the image with Dimensionals.
To cut out the "I' rather do nothing" sentiment, I die cut it twice. It didn't fit in the small tag and the large tag was too long for what I had in mind here. So, I ran it through the Big Shot once with the sentiment way over to the left of the tag. Then I moved the card stock down to cut off the right side and shorten the tag. The result is the shortened tag you see on my card.
Wonderful card, Diane! I love the modern chevron pattern paired with the vintage image! Love the black and white too! Super job with the challenge!
ReplyDeleteDiane, I love the colors you choose. The black and white is so sophisticated and puts a modern twist to a vintage sentiment. Fabulous card. So glad you joined the Paper Players this week
