The Paper Players Challenge this week is a Tic Tac Toe.  I chose the bottom row:  Embossing, Friendship and Ribbon.

Here is my card:

All  products Stampin' Up!
Very Vanilla and Basic Black Card Stock
7/8" Cotton Ribbon
5/8 Crochet Trim
Labels Collection Framelits
Chalk Talk Framelits
Modern Medley DSP
Versa Mark
Black Stampin' Emboss Powder
From My Heart Stamp Set
Fancy Fan Embossing Folder
Stampin' Dimensionals
Big Shot

I embossed the Friendship image twice and fussy cut the friendship banner.  I placed the banner on top of the image with Dimensionals.
To cut out the "I' rather do nothing" sentiment, I die cut it twice.  It didn't fit in the small tag and the large tag was too long for what I had in mind here.  So, I ran it through the Big Shot once with the sentiment way over to the left of the tag.   Then I moved the card stock down to cut off the right side and shorten the tag.  The result is the shortened tag you see on my card.

  1. Wonderful card, Diane! I love the modern chevron pattern paired with the vintage image! Love the black and white too! Super job with the challenge!

  2. Diane, I love the colors you choose. The black and white is so sophisticated and puts a modern twist to a vintage sentiment. Fabulous card. So glad you joined the Paper Players this week

  3. This is fabulous! Love the sketch and your details are perfect! I agree with Jaydee, this is quite sophisticated! Thanks for playing with my TTT challenge this week!

  4. Lovely texture, Diane and the black and white color combination makes it a classic beauty! Thank you for sharing with us at The Paper Players!
