Pals August Blog Hop

Glad you could join us for some holiday crafting with the Stampin' Pretty Pals! You've probably hopped over from Kim Czenszak at Live Love Stamp.   I'm stop number 12 on the Pals Hop and I'm glad you hopped in!  I'll help you "hop along" from blog to blog where you'll find great ideas for Stampin' Up! projects featuring the new Holiday catalog!  Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you'll be back on track.
Just call me the Bag Lady.  I had so much fun creating these holiday goodie bags using new products from the new Holiday Catalog and I can't wait to fill them for gift giving this holiday season.  These bags are just plain craft sacks that have been transformed using Stampin' Up Embossing Folders and embellishments from the new Holiday Catalog.
The two brown bags were embossed using the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder on page 7 of the catalog.  Then, using The Joyous Celebrations Stamp Set, also on page 7, I stamped the oval interior frame and decorated with the holly leaves and bow, all images in this set.  The sentiment is also from this set.  The inks are Old Olive and  "in color" Raspberry Ripple.  The DSP is Be Of Good Cheer and the ribbon is Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Scallop Dots.

The White Bag is embossed with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.  I highlighted the embossed snowflakes using the snowflake image from my absolute favorite stamp set in the Holiday Catalog-Mixed Medley on page 39.  This hostess set is a "must have."   It has Christmas, Halloween, Valentine and General designs and it uses the New 1 1/4" inch Scallop Punch on page 7!  And this set includes the inner circle designs "for you" and "Merry Christmas" as well.  I just love this set!  The bag is tied with the new 3 1/2' Scalloped Tulle Ribbon on page 4 of the Holiday Catalog.  This is the Crunb Cake Color.
Now hop along for more inspiring ideas from Claire Crotteau-Hutt at stamppaperscissors, stop number 13 on the Pals Holiday Catalog Blog Hop! Thanks for "hopping" by!
