I'm stop number 16 on the Pals Hop and I'm glad you hopped in! I'll help you "hop along" from blog to blog where you'll find great ideas for new Stampin' Up! products from the Stampin' Pretty Pals! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you'll be back on track.
My project uses two of the new Stampin' Up! stamp sets: Postage Due and Papillon Potpourri. I used the new SU punch, Elegant Butterfly.
I used two of the new SU In Colors, Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit, both inks and Cardstock. Other SU products used: Dazzling Details and Crystal Effects. The DSP is from My Mind's Eye, called 29th Street Market and was the perfect background for the Midnight Muse and the Summer Starfruit. The sentiment is from Elements of Style.
To make the butterfly on the lower left of the card, I sponged Summer Starfruit onto some SU Naturals Ivory Cardstock. Then I stamped the image in Midnight Muse. I placed some Dazzling Details on the edges of the wings and let that dry for a few minutes. Then I applied the Crystal Effects on the whole butterfly. When that dried, I punched it out with the coordinating punch and attached it with a SU dimensional.
I sponged the edges of the design as well as the edges of the sentiment.
