Tip Top Taupe

Tip Top Taupe.  Is that not the best name for a color?  On June 2, 2015, Stampin' Up! is introducing five new in-colors and this is one of them.

Here is a card for The Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge using Tip Top Taupe ink and paper.  Follow the link to check it out.  Here is the sketch:

Thanks Sew Much

This is a card submission for The Paper Players sketch challenge.

The stamp set is Stitches from Mama Elephant.

Ink is Stampin' Up! Blackberry Bliss

DSP is SU Park Lane

I have been doing more stitching than stamping lately, hence this card. I really miss the paper and ink but it is so hard to do it all!  Someday, when I retire...

It is All About the Paper

I got my Stampin' Up new catalog pre-order in this week.  I received the new 6" X 6" designer series paper called Cherry On Top.  Excellent!

I used the new paper with one of the new in-colors for this card to submit to the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week.  Follow the link to see all the beautiful creations.

The middle butterfly is the new Delightful Dijon.  I stamped then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

This paper stack is a pack of fun.  I trimmed the DSP to include two banners on top and one under the butterflies.

Craft Space Rearranged

Hello, again.  Its been a long time since I have posted.  I have had a few bumps in the road lately, but I am starting to get back on track.  I don't have a card to post today, but I am posting a video of my updated craft room.

In addition to stamping, I plan to post sewing projects too.

I am learning to quilt and to machine embroider, so as I learn a few things I may post a few projects.

So for today, here is an update on my craft space.

The Paper Players

Hello All

I am having a slow start to 2015.  Only my second post this year...I got the flu on January 2nd so its been slow going since then.

I saw this clean and simple "Sentiment" challenge this morning over at The Paper Players and thought I was up for the challenge.

Even though I have some new product from the new SU catalog, I hate to lose sight of the annual catalog.  So I used the "From My Heart" stamp set.  I think it works well at the beginning of a new year.

Also, I am using up "left-overs"  from the Holiday catalog; the paper is from the "Under the Tree" collection.  The sentiment is stamped with Whisper White craft ink, then heat embossed.

I combined some white Baker's Twine with some Linen Thread for the bow.  Easy-Peasy and Quick!
